Abrams Finally In Talks For Star Trek 2

But don't expect it next summer.... This will hardly come as a surprise to most of us - since we've been assuming for ages that the siren lure of the captain's director's chair would be too great for him to ignore - but while he hasn't formally committed, it's now all but certain that JJ Abrams will be directing Star Trek 2. And, just as predictably, Deadline's report confirms all the rumours and speculation that the long development process combined with Abrams' indecision about whether he really would take the job (he was, after all, a little busy making Super 8 and producing a thousand different other scripts, movies and TV shows) means that Paramount has decided to shove the Trek sequel from its original June 2012 release berth and offer the date instead to what is now apparently called G. I. Joe: Retaliation. As to where the Enterprise and her crew will find a scheduling dock, that's anyone's guess. Right now it seems that shooting will kick off in January next year, with the aim of trying to either get it into late 2012 or summer 2013. The studio has now picked up the cast's contracts, which means that the likes of Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Zoe Saldana will all be reporting for duty whenever this thing actually launches into warp speed. Trek writers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and new recruit Damon Lindelof have been hard at work cranking out script drafts, so assuming he signs on the dotted, Abrams will need to get to approving the thing and making some decisions...

whats that horror movie?

its a 80s or 90s horror movie where multiple stories are told i just
remember two parts from it . 1 is some teen girls are being chased on
the bad side of town by a pack of wild dogs and 2 is the ending where
i guess a guys girlfriend is playing a birthday pank on him or
something and he ends up chopping her head off with a sword thinking
it was real

So last week during summer camp, my class went to the beach. Me and my
best friend always try to get in with the cool kids but we always get
dumped in the trash can and get swirlies. so while me and my home boy
were playing mario kart on our DS, i noticed the popular kids from
school were walking our way with the popular girls. Realizing that it
is my chance to look cool now, I take out the rotten twinkie out of my
pocket and smash it in my friend's ear. He started crying and ran to
his cabin and didn't come out, but I'm sure he will get over it and is
happy that I have a shot of being cool now. All the cool kids were
laughing, and I'm just wondering when will I start getting invited to
parties and whatnot

How do I sneak into an R rated movie?

I'm 15, and I look like I am 15, but I am mature. I'm going by myself
because my friends wouldn't like the movie.

Should I just say "Can I get a ticket for *movie name here*?" Would
they question my age at all? What are the consequences for going into
an R rated movie underaged? Any advice in how to sneak in?

It's been in theaters since last month; last day is Thursday. It's a
very small theater, not like Loews or IMAX.

How gory is the movie the shining?

I am thinking of renting the1980's movie, The Shining
My brother wants to watch it with me and we are wondering how gory it
is? We have never seen it before. I've watched a few scenes on
youtube like a blood coming from the elevator, Twins with blood all
over the hall, some guy getting killed by an ax in his chest while
walking down a hall.
but those weren't so bad and I could handle them, it wasn't as
horrible or disgusting like movies out today.
Another thing is if there is any sexual scenes? nudity? if so how
much nudity? how fast or slow of a scene? I don't know?
