easily pull off tapped harmonics, and I can get the harmonic sound.
I'm wondering if the artificial harmonic sound is suppose to resemble
(be the same as) the tapped harmonic sound.
When I pick a note to try, I pull off a tapped harmonic to get an idea
of the sound, then I try getting that sound with the artificial
harmonic, but i can never pull it off.
Also, I can get a high pitched sound for any note using the artificial
harmonic strategy. I don't know if these notes are actual artificial
harmonics though. I can achieve this sound on the pickup closest to
the neck of the guitar. However, when I try moving my hand down
towards the bridge pickup, I can't get a harmonic-light sound. I can
do this on both of my guitars, but I don't know if its a real harmonic
or not. Any help resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.
