I played piccolo in my school's marching band last year, and I
currently play flute and tuba in regular band.
What marching band instrument do i play ? I have narrowed my choices
down to piccolo, flute, sousaphone, or baritone.
I would definitely like to play piccolo again, but here are some
reasons why I'm not sure if i want to play it again:
1) My school needs more baritones / sousaphones
2) There are already plenty of flutes that can play piccolo instead of
me.
3) Sousaphone / baritone build muscle, which i believe can help me in
tennis
Why I'm unsure whether to change
1) I'm scared i am going to get back problems from sousaphone
2) I'm not sure whether or not I can hold up a baritone, and I don't
want to make my school lose points in competitions because my bell
isnt up
